One good stretch that you can do before beginning your stomach flattening exercises is a stretch done while lying on your back on the floor. You should extend your arms over your head and keep your legs out straight while lying on the floor. The stretch is performed by slowly arching your lower back into a bridge. The stretch helps to get the abs and back ready for an abdominal workout. Some of the best stomach exercises can hurt your back if you do not stretch appropriately.

How to loose stomach fat? Another stretch that is good for your future flat stomach abs can be performed while lying face down on the floor. This stretch is often referred to as the cobra. The cobra is done by using your hands to push your upper body slowly up from the floor. Your legs should remain on the floor while performing this stretch. A similar stretch to the cobra is the upward facing dog used by yoga practitioners.
